About Summer Berg

Summer Berg grew up in the sprawling valley of Phoenix, Arizona, and was always fascinated by the growth and development occurring around her. She knew before attending law school that she would focus on real estate because of her passion for smart and sound development. Summer was a Harlan Scholar of the Center for Real Estate Studies at New York Law where she was a law review editor and graduated magna cum laude. The international law firm Troutman Sanders was quick to hire Summer as a real estate associate, where she worked on everything from shopping center developments to complex financing structures of skyscrapers in NYC.

 

After working several years as a real estate attorney in New York City, Summer moved to Aspen to join her husband, Erik, in 2010. While continuing to provide legal services through her Aspen law firm, she became a licensed real estate broker.

 

Now Summer works closely with all the Engel & Völkers Advisors in providing premium service to our clients buying, selling, and leasing properties in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. Her background in real estate and her knowledge of every aspect of the transaction is invaluable to clients.

 

Summer is a Board Member of the Buddy Program and mentors a little buddy every week. Summer is a founding member of both the Aspen Next Generation Advisory Commission and the Aspen Professional Mentorship Program. She is also a member of the Aspen Young Professionals Association as well as other real estate and legal organizations.
