Most of the original homes in Aspen were located in the West End, west of downtown and north of Main Street. Its proximity to the Aspen Music Festival Tent, Harris Hall, the campus of the Aspen Institute, the Aspen Center for Physics, and Aspen Meadows is a major draw for music lovers and those with intellectual interests. The West End features magnificent gardens and mature tree-lined streets where you frequently see residents walking their dogs, jogging, or biking.
